Slow and steady wins the race . It is a phrase which means the work should be done consistently. If the work is being done consistently even if it is being done slowly the performer will succeed .If the work is not being done consistently ;even if the performer is very good he or she will not be successful; specially if a person is lazy. In spite of being skilled or talented he or she will not be  as successful as his competitors.

    Here is a story of the hare and tortoise  which we all know; but to refresh it in mind let’s go through it.

The hare was  a very good Runner. where as the tortoise was slow. They both decided for a race.The hare was over confident of his success so he decided to take a nap in between the race .The tortoise kept on walking till the end. When the hare woke up ;the tortoise was about to touch the finishing line and in spite of his big leap the hare could not reach the finishing line .The tortoise won the race in spite of being slow because he kept on walking slowly and steadily.

This story is an eye opener for the people who don’t work consistently .They think that they will win the world on the basis of the Talent or skill  but it is not true.  Every work requires consistency. A seed will grow in to a tree after getting consistent sunlight,water,air and nutrients.

So it is always advisable to work consistently even if you are not getting success. If you work consistently you will definitely succeed because slow and steady wins the race. ✌
